Lincoln 1922 - Plans 4&4A

The area that needed to be mapped was set out as eight portrait-format sheets plus a couple of small additional sheets with 'A' designations. The area portrayed was not necessarily the whole rectangle, being limited, for example, by the city boundary. Here Plan 4 and the extension to its south (Plan 4A) have been squeezed onto the same sheet so tightly that they almost touch: Parcel 322 is the SW extremity of Plan 4A; the parish boundary below it is the northern limit of Plan 4.
