15. ‘ARP’ revision was added to the military one-inch map of England and Wales, and Scotland, which were then published as War Revision, probably beginning June 1940. By December 1940 the more refined Second War Revision was already being printed. Nine sheets were apparently never issued in War Revision form, but directly in Second War Revision. A handful of others were briefly available in War Revision before being cancelled: War Revision sheet 74 is thus recorded in this unique copy.
